Meet Graeme, a Senior Developer / Senior Systems Administrator at Audiobooks.com for the past 10+ years. We asked Graeme 5 big questions to help you get to know him and get an inside peek into our office life.

1. What are you listening to?

Billy Crystal‘s biography, Still Foolin’ ‘Em. He narrates it himself and it’s very funny. I find that it’s a generally positive story, which is nice. As much as all lives have ups and downs, he tells his story by leaning into the happy moments and without focusing too much on the down moments. It’s more just funny stories about getting old. So, it’s quite enjoyable to listen to. And about half of the audiobook is done live as stand-up comedy, which is a lot of fun because he plays around with the audience.

2. What do you enjoy most about your job at Audiobooks.com?

I like solving problems. I like to look at things that may not work very well and figure out a way to make them better. In general, I just enjoy being able to come up with solutions that will make things easier or faster for my team and the people who use our services.

3. What makes you laugh the most?

Probably my wife. Sometimes she says things that really make me laugh. And sometimes it’s her reaction to the things that I say that really gets me. always just kicks-and-giggles when we’re together and always very enjoyable.

4. What is your go-to Karaoke song?

Ahh. Probably Beyond the Sea by Bobby Darin. That’s always a fun one. Though, I imagine that if I am doing karaoke, I’d either have had a few beers too many or be paralyzed in fear, so it wouldn’t be too great of a show.

5. Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?

Oh, this one I don’t know. I suppose Josh Gad. He’d do alright as me. He’s a bit silly and goofy like me, which I like, and he’s also a bit bigger than I am so he might make real me look better than I do.
