“In my opinion, in this second installment of the Codex Alera series Tavi’s cleverness and potential really begin to take shape. I could revel for days in the world that Jim Butcher has created. Once again, Kate Reading’s narration is impeccable. If you have been enjoying how well written the Dresden series is, but are shy about giving a different type of book by Jim Butcher a try, please jump into this series. It does have a very different personality, but it is just as savory, satisfying and clever.” — Sandra

“I finally found it. This is the single most valuable parenting book that I’ve read to help with the struggles I sometimes face with my son. I’ve read other books that I thought were pretty valuable, but this one is more valuable than all of those combined. My husband is reading it, too, and can relate with what it says. Bonus: It’s helping me understand men in general! Some might not like everything in the book, but I’m confident every mother, father, caregiver, teacher, grandparent, etc. could find at least some very priceless advice.” — Janey

“Holy Smokes! What a great book. The narration was even fantastic. I should have gone to bed 3 hours ago, but couldn’t stop listening. The story has a great secret twist that totally deepened the whole story. This story isn’t your usual back-and-forth and misunderstandings; it was a whole nasty knot that you aren’t sure can be solved. And Zachary Webber’s voice is so seductive, with such a sexy rumble, that you are hopeless to be seduced by him even if you know it’s not good for you. This one is worth every penny and more. My new favorite.”
